Hahaha truth, same here, can't get enough 80's cheese! There also seems to be an abundance of movies about skiing for some reason.

I don't really have a production related question as you've done a nice job of answering them already, but I was curious how the Children of Men thing came about. Did someone from the studio contact you, or was it just licensed from the label without you knowing? I know how it usually works in other genres, but dubstep in major films is something that's pretty new so I was a bit curious. I know there was a couple of other dubstep tunes on it as well including Kode 9, and also some good ol' Aphex. Also, what did you think of the film?
You mentioned you enjoy soundtracks and scores (same here), is that something you might want to get into later?

Big up yourself and your tunes, thanks for doing this.

Lol..true.

Origianlly the track was put forward to use in one of the csi programmes ( as far as im aware ). Then a few weeks later i got a call from pinch asking if i'd like it to be used in a film..i thought about it for about a second..then said yes. I was given some info on the film and actually thought it was a straight to dvd jobby ( Using unknown music). So, of course i googled it and see it was tipped for big things ( so good choice lol). The track was origianlly used in 2 parts of the film but cut to 1. We was all also lucky enough to be given tickets to the premiere and after party. Walking down the red carpet is a story of its own. I really liked the film and was so engrossed in it that i missed my moment in the movie.

Ye its soming i'd love to have the opportunity of doing.

Lol, na no pictures unfortunatly.

The red carpet could of been 1 of my most embarrasing moments.. I did'nt wana walk down it and was asking if theres another way in. Pinch talked me into it saying when are we ever gonna get the chance to do this again so after a beer or 2 we done it. Pinch hurt his foot so was in trainers but i was swarved up..anyway..walking down red carpet all the cameras started going off..paps, camera phones everything. we were the only 1's on it and i knew they didnt have a clue who we was but i though fcuk it...im having some off this. Half way down they obvioulsy realised that we wern't famous and everything stopped..cameras went away, dead silence and i swear i see a tumble weed go across. To top it off, the red carpet goes through the center doors so, so did i. Then they call me back out to go through the door to the left as only the celebs can go through the special door on the carpet.

Dont want to embarrass myself with some retarded question but would like to say I often have loads of ideas of things I would like to try and do whenever I listen to these

Not many people doing this minimal dark sound and I love it. This is the exact flavor I am trying to achieve.
Don’t worry about people stealing an idea. If it’s original, you will have to ram it down their throats.

I haven't bought any vinyl in months to be honest, absolutely skint all the time. There's still bits I want from time ago like Redrum and From The Shadows cos I had no money then either. One day tho..

Im glad these bits inspire you in some way. Ye, its a shame that the deeper side is kinda pushed to the side nowadays but im sure it'll go full circle back again.

Look fwd to hearing some of your bits soon then.
