It should be clearly stated here that people should not send dubs over to that label...

People work their daily jobs, and still for the love of music manage to find time to write tunes, and do their best to sign them to some label, and then comes this prick who takes them, release them and earn from them... DAMN!

I swear to God we should all learn some odlschool voodoo and throw some of the ancient magic on him

Couldn't have said it better. He stole a tune from me that had significant meaning to me. I work my ass off, and, for this twat to steal what I love... FUCK YOU AGAIN BASTARD!
I'm sure he will try and make me look like the bad guy ... the bad guy for being stupid and sending over a promo to him (UN-PROLIFIC).. what a mistake.

Shit man the situation is completely fucked up. Hope this bastard gets what he deserves. I almost sent stuff over to these guys at one point!

Feel for everyone whose tunes he's stolen! This is a rough time for you guys, what a fucking prick.

PS. SubFreq, on a completely different topic - tunes you released with phantom hertz are BIG! PM me your aim please!

I missed it last year, so I'm having to do my reading now.

But firstly, I'll take it Prolific is the owner of the label?

Anddd, this is DNB prolific is it?!

But as far as I know, he already did that to other people aswell, so don't worry... If you speak the truth, you got nothing to worry about...

And that voicemail of his really speaks lots of him... If I were 10 000 times angryer than him, I would NEVER behave like that, and had that attitude...

that's the most ridiculous thing i've ever heard. we are talking about more than just a game of call of duty or some shit. i was a lurker when the first foul play thing came across & it saddens me to see this is happening again. biggup annias & all the heads from the first time this happened for bringing this to the attention of everyone & i can only hope that you succeed in bringing profilic & foul play records down. the voicemail is sheer proof that profilic is an absolute idiot.

^^this

Annais, best of luck to you..

if this dude is a "trust fund guy"... why doesn't he just settle up with the artists (some of whom are my personal friends and label mates). He has clearly admitted to "releasing" these unmastered tunes without contracts or permission.

my guess is that if he is stealing tunes to make $.95 each from beatport, he doesn't have the money to pay the damages that will result from the lawsuit that will most certainly rule in favor of the artists, not the label.

copyright law is real and in place to protect people from this exact situation

Just a reminder for the US folks:
Register your tracks with the US Copyright Office to ensure your ability to bring a copyright suit. Timing of your registration impacts level of recovery. Do it NOW, to ensure ability to collect statutory damages and legal fees, as well as actual damages & profit. It is cheap to register several pieces at once. Make this a priority upon finishing tunes.

This is great! How can I get signed for Foul Play Recs?
"f*ck dubstep. It's played almost exclusively by self indulgent wannabe losers"

Annias, i still think you are being a douche for posting your chicken sh*t dribble on the forum. I have problems with people on this forum (some even involve possible legal action.) You don't see me posting my phone number on here and bitching about it like some idiot.

Foul Play is gonna melt your sound system, smoke your weed, drink your drink, slap your girlfriend and leave you in the dust.

You know its not cool to bring your shit to work and smear it in everyones faces. Annias, you may be right, you may have been screwed by Foul Play, but how you handled it, is what makes you a "homophobe.". I'm with Foul Play on this one.
idiot.
