The one where Krusty fakes his own death.
The one where Burns opens the Casino - "we'll take the spruce moose!"
The one where Burns has the Trillion $ note.
The one about BoBo the bear.
The Bee Sharps Episode.

also in my contenders list is the one where Homer has to fight Drederick Tatum - so many classic lines
Tatum: I think Homer Simpson is a good man. I like him. I have nothing against him, but I will definitely make orphans of his children"
reporter: what about his wife marge?
Tatum: oh i would imagine would die of grief
and the CLASSIC Moe quote
''The called me 'Kid Gorgeous'... then 'Kid Presentable'... then 'Kid Gruesome... the 'Kid Moe'"

Lisa's Substitute
Bart the Murderer
22 Short Films about Springfield
Lisa's Wedding

The first act with the Osaka flu and "But I'll miss Sheriff Lobo" is hilarious, but once she actually goes to jail that episode just spins its wheels.

early/mid simpsons are the best thing ever on telly! the writing is amazing! so much quality!
like someone was saying kind of dropped off when futurama came about (which is also brilliant) but has definitely picked up again although i cannot stand to watch homer any more! has anyone else found this? i dont quite know how to describe it but theyv changed him for the worse!
I was saying “Boo-urns.”

yeah seasons1-10ish of the show, homer was often quite intelligent. a lot more eloquent, anyway. far more emotional too. the "do it for her" part in 'And Maggie Makes Three' (season 6) is amazing TV, cartoon or not. it was so much easier to relate to the simpson family back in those years. these days, they're just too blatantly a cartoon.
bit of a cliche answer, but 22 short films about springfield is my fav ep. next would be the mysterious voyage of homer

homer has become a stereotype as of late
the show is done and running on name alone

the movie sucked balls, only saving grace was President Schwarzenegger.
"Uck, everything is drama this and crisis that! No one opens with a joke any more...I miss Danny DeVito"

I think Beavis and Butthead was a bad idea in the first place, Office Space is great though
