i disagree with the thread title.. i dont disagree with the topic. all the dude was doing was asking if anyone else thought that a certain part sounded the same. and yes it does, and thats okay. now basic prolly doesnt like the sub genre of dubstep that datsik and that crew are going for. and thats cool.
i think its sweet datsik responded so humbly, and hopefully everyone can walk away from this with new eyes.

i wish my tunes would blow up and get signed too, maybe they will. but if not then i can exist in the dubstep community and enjoy what others make, or choose not to listen to some things.

First post i saw when i finally looked at this thread again, n not tryin to read the rest. Love brostep. Love it. hate the word brostep, becasue I fucking love brostep. Just caught an interesting little anamoly in the tune, wasnt hatin, the thread title was supposed be kinda humorous n sarcastic, n the question got answered with no bad vibes at all...
Dont sweat it guys, Im not a troll, I dont see this as much different then blowing the Jahova sampling and riffing out of the water, its pretty cool too see that kinda shit... If you didnt really look at it, youd never know where the yippy-ky-yay sample got downloaded from, youd never see the little bits of cross-application of sound, youd never see how the music was made.
Its fucking sample music. When we find sampling in action, we talk about it and learn from it here on this board. Its what we do.
Im not challenging, calling out, picking on, or fuckin with anyone. Just noticed an interesting bit about two songs, made a sarcastically titled thread that noone bothered to read the context of, n yup, massive hate, called it on the first page, n didnt mean to do it...
Lotsa questions can arrise from seeing it, though, n its a good thing to learn about... Id be nterested too know if copyright problems can come from it, since he said it happened on seperate label submssions before... or like, maybe he heard the riff somewhere else, and now he uses it alot because its one of those classic series of notes... its just a bit of learnin, no big deal...
Is cool to look at that stuff, n its cool to be able to get an artists 2 cents on how he came about using the same sound twice. Its fun to see the production process. Its all in good vibes amongst fellow appreciators of the music.
Dont worry so much and assume everytime someone mentions his name its out of hate. Mad respect for the dude.
And for the end all, Datsik is by far in my top 3 favorite artists, and I fucking love brostep, love it love it love it, make a bit of it myself.. Sorry I was studying two songs I love a little too hard and wanted to know if what I was hearing was all in my head or if it was intentional or an accident or what happened. Ill make a note too not try and study anymore. I promise.
