i don't remember making this thread...
anyway i'm using my mpc1k and my sp404 more and more these days. only problem i have is that my sp404 seems to emit some sort of electrical humming noise whenever i plug it into my soundcard. it's fine whenever i plug it into my mpc and anything else i plug into my soundcard is fine. i think it's a grounding issue or some bullshit.
the sp404 is great for processing audio but now i find it's a pain in the ass to use it because of this problem.
what sampler is everybody using?

Just Ableton's default sampler. Which is ok-ish but not as good as some.

simpler and sampler in ableton, both awesome especially since sampler can handle just about all the other popular sampler file formats.
