Damn this danny kid is making me look foolish now hahaha.... Danny, (hope you dont mind if I address you like I know you) Guy..... Were gonna need you to atleast act like you try some of this before you ask... go read tutorials... EVERYWHERE. Go search out every bit of production knowledge you can thru google searches and forums. try these things for weeks and weeks and weeks until you realize your atleast learing things if not exactly what you wanted. Then ( and ONLY then) try starting a thread without blatently asking for a hand out and try starting a discussion for instance this thread could have been "what kind of bass makes you shart yourself" and then you could have discussed with each reply with inquiries like "yeah big fan of that too! what do you find to work best?" or sum shit... i dunno, you get it tho.... Dont just come in here and act like you can go "up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right, A, A, B, B" and rock out some unreal bassline. Lil harder than that champ. :i:

i find half my tunes worth a damn by just hitting garage or whatever mass catagory dubstep is lumped in with on juno and ignoring names attached to tunes
Trust I dig deep.

I think 99% of it is shit. The people who got me hooked in the first place dont really make much anymore or have gone down the new style of Dubstep which is not my thing at all. Dubstep is going in some weird direction at the moment where it is getting a bit like IDM/Breakcore and TEchno, but not as good.

where has all the experimenting gone? it's just all quite the same sound. reminds me of the recent drum n bass stuff. just formulas are being reproduced a thousand times.

well. i have to admit, i never really digged that deep into the new wave, filth or whatever you call it thing... just isn't my kind of music because i come from the whole reggae thing. and for me dubstep, or bass music in general is all about bass and interesting beats, athmospheres and meditation.

if I want midrange, i listen to punkrock

still, repsect for each and every. it's just my opinion and not saying this is worse than that. just not my cup of tea
I came from Techno/Oldskool and the old stuff really stood out as being new and exciting! it use to sound like someone was really experimenting and there was some wicked shit going around. Now days everyone is trying to make floor fillers and more interested in spending a week EQing instead of making an interesting track.

The music use to sound like it was made by someone with a passion for music like Dub,Reggae and Garage/Grime. Now it sounds like its being made by people who are not even into Electronic Music and are giving 'Dubstep' a go lol. I guess there are a lot of producers who were not doing too well in DnB/Breakcore who find it easy to produce new wave dubstep...

So, after a very critisised forum thread, you may be wondering where I've got with all this...
Admittedly, I haven't created the YAYA bass sound that I wish I coulda... but...
I have made something that I think has some value.

Will be uploadin' soon! :]

Trolling is purposely posting things on forums to try and get a negative reaction from people. Which is not what you are doing so just ignore him man.

Cant wait to hear your efforts. Remember to post in the Work in progress or Finished track threads (stickied at the top of the page)

Yeah cant wait to hear it Danny! Please note that my statements were sincere and not ment to just be flat out mean (like some douche bags you may stroll into on here :) ) Keep at it and dont give up on making that bass until its exactly what you want (the YOY that is) and you'll see that you make tons of gems on accident and learn a LOT when you finally get tht sound you want :e:

What you mean the biggest chopper thing or the 230s pic?

230s is just a running joke... means 320, but its typed wrong...

And I meant where does biggest chopper fall? Mid range cack/filth, or sub riddim shit?

I just wanna know if the bros or deepahs went credit for that one, lol.
