Re: dubstep and its future?
I don't see why everybody has created this idea that indie music is all about "cutting". That would be emo, I listen to indie-pop/indie-rock/dubstep/fidget house. I've just seen a lot of hate on the genre with people having the wrong mindset of what it really is. I'm way more enveloped in dubstep , but I also enjoy indie, so maybe learn about the genre before judging it.truefiktion wrote:Dubstep defines the new generation of music, kids born these days will listen to dubstep when theyre teenagers...not fucking shitty RNB and cheesey pop or death metal and indie 'slit-your-wrist' puke!

^^^True, you know a guy is fucking ignorant when he slags genres he doesn't know anything about. Anyone who defines himself by a genre of music ("I'm a 'dubstepper'"/"I only listen to....") comes off to me as a total wanker.
Also, RnB is awesome.

Re: dubstep and its future?
As with any genre you have your good artist and the bad ones.
where ever dubstep does go there is still going to be the good producers.

i generally try to stay out of these threads, but in answer to your question, yes, it definitely has.NattyWallo wrote:Just look at drum & bass, [...] has it been "destroyed" by more people listening to it? - No. Only better.

Get off your high horse mate
Didn't mean to start an argument, I just meant that you should at least learn what the genre is about before judging it. Your completely entitled to your opinion on indie music and I respect that. I never meant the initial post to start an argument, sorry.
Re: dubstep and its future?
yes i think i'm the god of everything because i have an opinion and express it, didn't know you were the only one allowed to do thattruefiktion wrote:Maybe its you that is the wanker sirAyatollah wrote:^^^True, you know a guy is fucking ignorant when he slags genres he doesn't know anything about. Also, RnB is awesome.Coming on to a forum and joining a thread just to moan like a bitch. I said 'shitty' RNB, I didnt mean all RNB is shit. Anyway thats all I wanted to say cos i only just saw this comment and the other one just now and thought I should say something cos i hate people who think theyre god of everything when theyre actually just anally retentive douche bags

EDIT: okay fair enough, I was probably irritated about something when I read your post the first time, so I took it the wrong way. I just read it again and there was no need to insult you, my apologies for that
