Are you sure that a ferry goes from Venice to Pula in September? Certainly the catamaran from Venice to Pula only operates up to the end of August according to this http://www.croatiatraveller.com/Istria/Pulaferries.htm.
You can always get one of our transfer buses, for 20 Euros each way, from both of the Venice airports to the site but you need to put your name down here http://www.outlookfestival.com/travel/a ... sfer-form/

I haven't been to Croatia so I haven't seen the apartments in either Stinjan or Valbandon. But If I had to stay in an apartment I would choose Stinjan because even though Valbandon is closer to the sea, Stinjan is only about half a mile away from the sea and beach. Stinjan is also within easy walking distance of the site, whereas Valbandon is 3km away. Valbandon is a mile to the south of the tourist town of Fazana, which is a good thing if you want to spend a lot of time in Fazana but if you are going to spend most of your time at the Festival then Stinjan is the place to be!

weis wrote:does someone know if you also have to make a reservation for the camping site?
or can you just go and pay there?
You will only be allowed to turn up and pay for the campsite if all the campsite places haven't gone. There are 1200 places at the campsite. There are 3000 people going to the Festival. I think all the campsite places will sell out before the end of August so if you don't reserve the campsite now then its highly likely that you won't have anywhere to stay once you get to the Festival.

Unless you can find someone who wants to sell their ticket then I think the only chance you've got of getting a ticket is by signing up to the mailing list then sit by your computer all week to see if we can increase the number of tickets we are allowed to sell and if we can we will send everyone on the mailing list a message and you will have to buy a ticket straight away.

If anyone has anymore questions about the Outlook Festival just ask here, I'll try to answer them.

Yes, some have. Can you get him to send you a photo of his ticket to see what it looks like? The printed tickets look similar to last year's boat party tickets which you can find on the Outlook Festival website. If you got the reference number of the ticket we might be able to find out who bought it and then you can check to see if its the same person selling it.

Yes, I'm part of SubDub & Exodus. No problem with the questions, we want to make sure that no one is getting ripped off by paying for something that isn't real.

Have you got the ebay website address so I can check it, I couldn't find any Outlook tickets on ebay. From that photo in your last post it looks real though.

If you know when you're going to be in Venice then you need to complete the airport transfer form to make sure that a place is reserved for you on a bus (you don't need to arrive on a plane to use the buses).

If you don't know when you're going to arrive in Venice and don't complete the transfer form but just turn up at the airport hoping there's some space on a bus then we can't guarantee that we can fit you on.

Spaces on the buses are reserved for those who complete the transfer form and we will only put on a bus to a specific airport if enough people complete the transfer forms. There are other ways to get from Venice to Pula: Train or public bus.

Well being brutally honest, I don't know.

The organisers who are in Pula now have just told me that the Croatian authorities will let us know if and how much we can raise capacity by, by the end of June. I suppose its like the licensing authorities in the UK, if they think it will benefit the local area then they might say "Yes", if they think it'll will cause too many problems, along the lines of "we don't want those drunken foreigners over here destroying our beautiful town" or they think the amenities around Fort Punta Christo can't handle more than 3000 people then they will say "No".

I think its 50:50 about which way they decide and unfortunately we, the Outlook Festival, have a bad track record in Croatia, we were banned from Petrcane (the site of the first Outlook Festival) after the first year because some people left apartments without paying and put graffiti around the town or didn't respect the Croatians in general. The small minority spoiling it for everyone else. If the authorities in Pula take account of Petrcane then NO extra tickets but last year at Zrce Beach went without any noticeable problems so they might say YES we can increase the capacity. We will have to wait and see.

I'll check it and let you know when the organisers get back from Pula, at the end of this week.

I'm guessing it's a bit too late for this. I was going to get on it but it all looked a bit too expensive. 89 squids for the ticket. 200 squids for a the air fare. A couple more squids for everything else. Gash, I'm way too broke :(.

All the tickets have gone but I know what you're saying. But £200 for the flights are way too much, I've just found this on skyscanner if people want to know how much they should be paying for a flight, before they are all gone:

flight details itinerary:

Tue 31 Aug 2010
07:15 STN London Stansted
10:10 TSF Venice Treviso Ryanair
1h 55 FR792

Tue 7 Sep 2010
10:35 TSF Venice Treviso
11:40 STN London Stansted Ryanair
2h 05 FR793

Ryanair £65.98 Price is live

I got my flights from Leeds Bradford to Venice for pretty cheap, think was £80 each. Will have to keep some pennies for the flight transfers but still, cheaper and easier than getting the sunshine bus!

In Romanian, Pula means dick :) I hope those guys from Dick woun`t be act like a dick and will be ok to rise the capacity, so I can get a ticket. Been to Croatia a few years ago, they are very tourism oriented`n stuff, I what the hell, more people means more money/
