Last time I went out on the lash in Chesterfield (my lady's from there) we almost ended up in a fight in Greggs after going clubbing... it was about 3 in the morning and the whole town had ignored kebab shops in favour of a fucking 'bakery'!
WTF their Greggs' open that late???? Mine barely even stays open till 5pm!!!!

My lass works at Subway and she makes a beast of a sandwich! Even gives perfect coverage with the triangle cheese and I can have anything I want at half price. Probably why it tastes so good, no way would I pay full price for one.

PS What are your views on subway cutting the meatballs in half so they sit in the sandwich correctly and do not roll out of the bottom? This has caused me many sleepless nights and tomato stained shirts and your opinion would mean the world to me. Thx <3

You've just reminded me of Greggs. Thanks.

Fuck Subway as well, it tastes cheap and there isn't enough.

My girlfriend just got fired from her old job so has to work at Subway for a while until she can find some decent work - but free meatball marinara's at lunch time ain't such a bad job perk. Lady gonna sort me out with some hella sammiches.

Fuck subway so hard. The smell from the outside makes my stomach turn, the sandwiches are average at best, and they cost...so much

Independant sandwich shop > subway every fucking time. I can go up to tiffins baguettes round here and get a 12" baguette, fucking rammed with chicken, pesto, sundried tomatoes and whatever the hell else I feel like, with a pack of kettle chips and a can of something for £3.

Ergo, fuck subway.

Tbh, make your own fucking sandwiches.

You can get the ingredients for like five sandwiches for the price of one subway sandwich.
fuck off

Subway ruins Greggs.

Italian BMT (with the plastic cheese) on honey oat, toasted and the sauce that tastes like sugar.
... and a cookie after.

Can't turn that down :)

I only eat Subway when I'm hammered. One of the many things I do that I shouldn't when pissed, that I probably wouldn't enjoy when sober.

No doubt it's overpriced, and "small time" sandwiches are usually more interesting (that one you just described sounds good, though I'd switch the pesto, not a big fan of cheese), I really do rate the meatball marinara though. So nice. Usually get it with lettuce, tomatos, jalapenos, red onion, and hot chilli sauce. Win.

Leeds city centre's rammed with Subways aswell - there's two which are literally within 40 seconds walking distance of each other. No KFC's though, and only one BK - but you can see two distinct McDonalds franchises on the same road rofl.

There's no such thing as a corned beef pasty.
To be a pasty, it MUST be made with beef skirt. Ask any pasty maker. Not a baker, a pasty maker; and they will say the same thing.

Fuck Ginster's and fuck everyone else who makes shit pasties.

(nothing personal by the way magma  )

As for Subway, fuck them too. They're well overrated. If I want a sandwich, I'll make one at home. But I don't want a sandwich anyway, I want a pasty...so its lucky I live in Cornwall :D
