Sony MDR headphones
TEAC A3340s Four track
MK2s and old records
Ableton LITE 6(the cracked version i had died)
guitars, basses, field recordings.
it's not the gear that matters though, it's what you do with it, as I've heard some awful tracks by people with insane setups, and vice-versa.

full surround mixing on Genelec 1038´s
Yamaha NS10´s
JBL 4412´s
Auratone Soundcube´s
BTW, check these two pics out:
These are my old DISA units - serviced and rackmounted by a pro German audio company (HE Studiotechnik).
The first one is two Danish DISA valve/vari-mu limiters from the 50´s/early 60´s. The units have been rackmounted, and attack/release/threshold/link etc. mods have been added. These DISA limiters are the inpiration for eg. the Manley limiter designs.
This unit just arrived back from Germany, so I haven´t had a chance to listen to it yet, but i reckon it wil murk any other valve limiter available.
This picture is of two Danish DISA valve pre-amps. Phantom power and attenuation has been added to the units/rack. Sound amasing, really classic and smooth. A favourite pre of mine. I have five DISA pre´s in total (one spare, the other ones rack mounted)
Finally HE Studiotechnik also rackmounted and serviced my two rare, German U73 valve limiters/compressors from the 60´s. Google TAB U73, and you will find some interesting info on these classics, that usually are described as the European Fairchild units. The U73 was used for broadcast and also disc/vinyl mastering/cutting.
Well, as you can see I have a craving for gear (new and vintage), and if it wasn´t for lack of space here I would have posted the complete studio gear list. All the gear my father and I have collected through the years.
Well, if you got any questions regarding mixing, recording, gear etc. please get in touch. I Wwuld love to share my passion and knowledge of great gear and general studio experience. All for the sake of enhancing the power of Dubstep (+ Grime, UKG and DnB too)!
Big up

Just sold a bunch of kit, cause it's not what you have, it's how you use it. Trying to keep it lean, and only have around what I need.
Sound
------------------
Reference:
2x KRK Rokit5's (RP5) with 1 10" or 12" sony hifi sub. (not too sure how big) to fill in the lows.
Alternate Reference:
2xsony SS-LA500ED's
sony MDR-V150
Control
------------------
M-audio Axiom 25
Had a bunch of control surfaces, but I sold them all as I don't use any more than one knob or two octaves at a time.
PC
------------------
P4 2.4ghz
1.5gigs of ddr400
Soundcards
------------------
Hercules DJ Console MK1 (piece of shit, but the asio drivers are alright)
I had an M-audio quattro but I sold it.
Software
------------------
Technically, nothing yet. I'm a broke college kid. The second I earn a dime from making music I'm going legit.
I try to use free software as much as possible tho, but I can't get away from my daw and sampler being commercial.
However, the software I usually use is:
Cubase SX3
Massive
Triangle 2 (Free)
Kontakt
PSP Mixpack
PSP vintage warmer
MDA plugins (Free)
SideChComp (Free)
The Cubase delay, reverb, modulation, and dynamics plugins
DJing
------------------
Stanton ProDJ3000 Headphones
2x TTX1s
1x Pioneer CDJ200
(trying to buy another)
1x Behringer VMX200 (piece of shit)
2x Ortofon Concorde Nightclub S

Over the last 5 years I've sold my Akai S2000, Korg Triton, Behringer Composer, Behringer MX24/4/2A Desk, Roland TR606, TR707 and SH101. I used to love that kit but it made moving house or even saving settings for tunes a complete nightmare. Software all the way nowadays.

your setup smokes mine - what does a process mobo and ram like 4600 dualcore go for?
That's like 4x the processing power of my 2.4ghz P4
