Eh *shrug*

His relentless attack on Venetian Snares fans just really reminded me of a racial Segregationist!
Or Something like Deadly Habit said, A preachy religious fanatic trying to shove their point of view down your throat.

Your relentlessly using the words "relentless attacks".

And nah... I really dont think theres anything comparable about venetian snares and 100's of years of segregation, slavery, and hate  ... But as you were man, just saying it was really funny of you to pull that card

I guess i could have said "Thinking all White folks are Redneck trailer park hillbillies"
Or "All mexicans are fruit picking low rider drivers"! That way we can cut out the hundreds of years of pain and torment and jump straight to the generalization of Stereotypes! :D

And Basic A... U my hero.

my appreciation for the snares man really went up when i tried to tackle playing it on a drum kit. When i started out it was just too chaotic but after becoming obsessed with his music i learned how to adapt it to a kit hahah, its really genius the way he orchestrates all his drum phrasing!! The fact most of it is in odd time signatures gives it such a robotic or mechanical feel to it but it still feels somewhat natural to adapt on a drumset. theres so much chaos in his good tunes its like a way of forcing your mind to set itself free from the restraints of subconsciously fitting music into a predictable pattern.

i did a handful of super sloppy drum-alongs (im not trying to replace the original drums as much as add to it) with an electric kit and a free webcam olol i posted on my youtubes, heres my favorite one :D

Some of you need to get out a bit more.
Don’t worry about people stealing an idea. If it’s original, you will have to ram it down their throats.

Woa I posted in the first page of this thread then forgot about it and just come back to find it in such a state. Tut tut. Have to say I've lost a lot of respect for serox here, anyone who can't hear the rhythm in venetian snares....just 0.o

Also, the thing that got me riled up the most is whoever said that breakcore is for geeks :\ I think you mean IDM surely?? If you really think breakcore is for geeks you've clearly never been to cambridge...or any breakcore raves/festivals..

I'm not a massive fan of breakcore, it's ok, I prefer IDM or Jungle but it's clearly for dirty hippies :|

Venetian Snares is awesome. Nuff said.

On a similar note, I experimented in some Breakcore in my first year of University, got a little clip here if you wish you check it out; http://www.divshare.com/download/12918791-7df

I wasn't awesome enough to stray into multiple odd time signatures but It's crazy so that counts for something :D

I personally, don't see what all the fuss is about. The fact he looks like he could break out a shotgun and go on a rampage any second puts me off, too.
