See. We were having a normal debate with abstract thought. Abstract thought one time used to be what created our current belief of space and time. People have forgotten that it is still theory. Just because a collective belief has been around for a long time, doesn't mean that it's correct. Don't put your mind in a box.

And you guys have started to turn this into an argument, because you think one mass accepted school of thought is correct. You few are stifling progress and wasting energy attacking a person for not agreeing with you.

Don't just call someone wrong just because their idea hasn't been thought of before. Humans haven't accomplished very much just because of this behavior. The science community is full of (for lack of a better description) haters. The moment a new scientist comes up with a theory, the rest of the old boys club tries to explain why something CAN'T happen, instead of why something can HAPPEN. I spent most of my life thinking about how time travel could be possible. I also thought I was asking the wrong questions... and that my mind didn't have the capacity to understand the laws of the physics. I've learned that the mind is a machine that has the dominate functions of abstract thought and problem solving. One single mind could accomplish more, because humans cause more problems when their minds are consolidated.

in certain views even illogical possibilities, necessarily obtain in reality.

the advancements in string theory suggest that the world of metaphysical necessitarianism is in fact a reality. but judging by how quickly modern physics seems to change its mind and base its grounds for research in conjecture anyone who files a claim in support of one side of the argument or the other, based on what i've read in this thread, is skating on very thin ice.
