Wow, this ones too much. Had a really hard time choosing between several tracks here, but my vote goes to Pilgrimage, heavy tune, great production, maintains a lot of interest through the whole way out.

Overall the quality of these submissions is just awesome, I'm excited to hear what people will come up with now that I will be extending the competition duration to one month instead of several weeks.

Big up!

Overall lots of good tracks here and a couple of great ones. I really enjoyed 'Little White Swamp', can't quite believe it doesn't have any votes at all :\ I kind of wanted to vote for it myself because I think it deserves second place but decided I had to vote for my favourite really and 'pilgrimage' just inched it for me. Both are amazing tracks, especially considering the quality the tunes in these comps can sometimes be.

Yeah I voted tang too. So pleasant haha and it seemed very original, percussion on point, too.

Yhes yhes, things will definitely have to change up, honestly I think it was best when we had a panel vote, anyone can easily ring up their friends and get them to vote, unfortunately, a majority of the people participating in these competitions would rather have the traditional voting versus panel, but I am open to opinions.

Cheers.

a panel of 5 people... & they each give critical feedback!

but each comp only lasts a week & then a week for voting.
Then give the winner, at the most a week to up the samples!

streamline this shit!

entrenched was a pretty good tune, bit too much reverb but liking the sound

Ice Cold/ weird but again found myself liking its tick tock style beat and it progresses well

little white swamp/ this is a stunning lil number pretty track :P not bad at all, melodies are lush, not the cleanest of the tracks tho :P

Pilgrimage, rocked it tho. mixdown was good specially considerin time scale. crisp tune lounge style offbeat shuffle going on sounds good. smacked it man this is where my vote is going. proper creative shit this.

Edit: whens the next one lol, i hadnt explored this till now n i wnt a crack :P

If the validity of the votes is a concern, then perhaps only count votes that are posted in the thread in form of a message. At another forum I frequent they do a 3-2-1 vote system, and with the relatively large number of entrants over here, I think that's a good way to go.
