although i will grant you that Shot Myself in the Foot Again is awful and probably worse than anything Kode9's ever made, that doesn't negate his good stuff. Fuck context, just approach music for what it is - a few minutes of sound.

i didn't say a few minutes of sound isn't valuable, just that considering a song's context like so many people seem to do when listening to music kind of defeats the purpose of music in my opinion.

Why can't you sit and read the thread before calling people out?

Because I'm absolutely sure you mean to say that anyone who thinks anybody else might be better than kode9 must be a pleb, and that it stands to reason to claim that musical appreciation and abillity are so directly correlated to intelligence.

I read Rubio as well when I see his name.
Hope he gets a good season again, Wolves' roster isn't looking that strong though.

i'm not that into what either of them make now but i think kode9's old tunes have aged better for the most part, more interesting stuff going on in them and gets across the dread side better

though skream makes more dancefloor bangers so maybe thats it?

That's specifically what I don't agree with. Kode9s stuff is very skanky in general imo, but a lot of it sounds 2d to me. Which isn't to say that of all of his stuff, but I feel like Skream does a better job of getting a point across.

therefore Blipstream is a shitty tune.
