This. What's really odd is 9/10 it will come up as 137bpm when I do this O.o.
Human heartbeats usually 130-140, unless your like, really, really wasted.
If you're not exercising, then I don't think that your heart rate will be anywhere near that

im going from 70 = 140 logic.

The typical healthy resting heart rate in adults is 60–80 bpm,[2]

just make the fucking song at whatever bpm sounds right. tap that shit out. bpm wars will only stufle your creativity.

its not as if 100 bpm is anything new lol, some people must only listen to one type of music :|

fetal heart rates often chill around the 130-150 mark.

This one was all about the grove for me. Same drum pattern all the way through. :6:

I fucking adore this genre at the moment, got plenty of things in the pipeline at the moment at this tempo. What genre is it though? Hopstep? Hiphopstep?

How about we hold out as long as possible before slapping a genre title on it and just continue to think it's an evolution of bass music in general...

I'm absolutely in love with the 100bpm sound at the moment. I find it to be so much more danceable. Has much more of a swing to it.

As for naming it, I will refer to anything from 90bpm to 110bpm as 100bpm dubstep. No need for anymore stupid names, so lets just call it what it is.

Don't be stupid. It's glitch hop or plain old hip hop. A bassline doesn't make it dubstep, what's with the "step"?

Judging my intelligence by my avatar.

Good work, that is very creditable.

Too slow half time, and just electro at full time.

I thought this was just midtempo? Me and my mate have been producing it for a while.
