Don't change it man! A while back I was thinking about changing my name to 3PH to not confuse any jocks who might start following me, but I figured fuckem. I'd rather be 'that long chemical name' than 'eff' which is what they'd inevitably call me. And the number thing is getting so common it's losing it's novelty. And for the record, I always read it as D. E. P. One.

seriously, it's not hard to figure out that the "bass" in a dubstep producer's name would refer to low-frequencies and not a fucking fish.

oh, and personally i thought it was "dee pone," that just seems to be the most logical way to pronounce it (coming from an english major).
