About to call it a night after 10 hours of producing :7: .. Not especially happy with it, but its the first tune I ever wrote in half a day.. Now time to send her into battle :miyagi: Best of luck everyone, really excited to listen to your tunes :w:

As an aside; in that Addison Groove RBMA lecture he says that he rarely spends more than 4 hours on the composition of a new tune (not the mixdown), and that if he takes longer then that he tends to scrap it because he loses the 'vibe' of it or whatever.

I'm not saying hes the best or that well all should do everything the way he does it, but it's definitely something worth thinking about. My entry into the last contest was made in an afternoon, in fact i think like 8 hours after wub released the samples i was done :dunce:

Then again everyone's methods are different and often just work for what they are trying to achieve.

Finals coming up and had school stuff to do. and I kinda procrastinated this comp. :/ So I'm out. Maybe next time. Will vote on tunes though.

hah yeah JK! I went skateboarding all day instead. I think I'll still make a little beat out of the samples, but obviously not for the comp.

I'm right with you on this one buddy, but I was able to muster up just enough time between slaying dragons and killing storm cloaks to do a track for this.
