+1 for what SunkLo and a few others say.
if you're still fairly young, you need to watch what you put into your body/brain as it can effect all kinds of biological and neurological processes that take place while your still 'developing' into a young adult.
Stick to the herb for now, just watch your self on that too. Sent my mind a bit sketchy when i was 17 for a few weeks. in retrospect, my mind probably hadnt matured enough to be coping with that amount of herb but some years later, i avoid smoking it too much and too often now days so its all good.
Everyone's different though just be honest with your self and theres not much to worry about. Wait till summer-time to try any psychedelics. Fitting visionary ,or even just recreational doses into your daily life can be difficult to begin with. shrooms and acid are an obvious 'starting' point to test the waters of your mind. i can't really speak for mescaline but i'm sure there others who can/and already are. They will make you question 'things' a lot more. which is ultimately a gift, but when you have a daily routine applied to you,it can form quite a strain... < balance
If your gonna do salvia, do it 'properly' and Quid it (chew fresh leaves).
if you insist on smoking a 'x' enhanced extract of it, do it with as minimal sensory input as possible. Salvia doesn't always take mercy. recently saw a vid of an Salvia 'expert' who said that the 'Salvia spirit' is more comfortable/stable within moisture as apposed to dryness.
After a fair amount of trips , you'll know if your mind is ready for psychedelics just yet, and if it is, you'll sense how often. I'd say maybe leave the DMT /Ayahuasca for a while. at least until you've experimented with the others at varying doses enough to adjust to the scope of potential realizations psych's can bring you. always look shit up online. read the stuff u wanna hear but don't ignore the stuff you don't wanna hear either.
don't do it soley for the pretty colours and ineffable-aesthetics, do it to learn and improve upon yourself, your understanding of the universe, but most importantly, to make you more mindful of your interactions with the people you meet and the environment you're in ,in your day to day life.
listen to what other people say but also make sure you do what the fuck you want sometimes too

cos thats how we learn.
trial and error.
trial and success.
