Time could be a little bit of a problem though, but fuck that. I've read so much about these games and I've seen how they scored in the media so I guess these are just must haves.
I would definitely download MGS on the PSN if you can and play that first, otherwise you're going to be a bit confused when they start talking Shadow Moses in MGS2.

My english teacher gave me a weird look when I mentioned that as the musical instrument I played. Like the wtf stare. I had to give her the 'wiki wiki' dj motion to confirm what i meant.

MGS on the PSN isn't upscaled, so on modern LCD TVs it looks like blocky shit, best to play it on a CRT for authenticity.

Sorry, but how many MGS games are there in this HD collection? From what I've read so far Iunderstood that only MGS 2, 3 and 4 are present, am I right?

So I'd better purchase MGS 1 on PSN first before I buy the HD collection right?
And I've read above that the graphics are quite poor, so would it be wise to play it on a (I think it is) 40" tv? Or would that kill the experience? If it does, I think I'd rather play it on the PSP then.

Three games in the HD collection. Sons of Liberty, Snake Eater and Peacewalker. Sons of Liberty = MGS2, Snake Eater = MGS 3, Peacewalker = MGS on PSP

MGS4 is Guns of the Patriots and is not in the boxed set.
