Well, American Dad is satire of extreme conservative beliefs, among other things. Not to mention the main character isn't being dumb for no reason. I can understand if you don't like it, but saying they have no humorous value, is kinda like if i said skrillex didn't have bass.

Adult Swim is the only way I can justify my 18 hour shift on Mondays.
Used to hate King of the Hill, starting to see the beauty in that show now.

King of the Hill is less of a comedy to me, and just a good animated show, with some really funny parts. That being said, mike judge brought all of the superior production values from king of the hill and applied it to the new season of beavis and butthead. Which was beyond anything i expected it to be, imo.

King of the Hill is amazing, it's very subtle. Definitely a comedy. Simpsons seasons 1-9 can not be touched. Nowadays it's complete and utter shit.

simpsons every time for me

partly because there has been over a decade where it was untouchable, but also because i feel like although the newer episodes aren't great, they'll only get better with time and repeat viewings. the newer episodes were always going to get a bit of shit thrown at them but once people stop pining for the simpsons glory days while watching i think they will become more enjoyable

south park is hilarious, but a bit too crude for my tastes at times

family guy has its place. probably more laugh out loud moments but a lot of shit in between

and never given any time to american dad, although i hear great things

The new Beavis and Butthead is so weak compared to the original, it just seems to have lost its edge from the actual plot of the skits to the way they critique the music videos..but thats just my opinion. I still think Mike Judge's greatest achievement is Daria..my favourite animation of all time (and probably the only good thing that shithole MTV ever aired).

King of the Hill had some really good stretches...some of the early and later seasons are pretty bad though. John Redcorn ftw

I'm curious about this daria show. The only thing i can find on the internet (at school) says it's a character on Beavis and Butthead. Could you give me a short summary of what it's like? :Q:

Daria is an American animated television series created by Glenn Eichler and Susie Lewis Lynn for MTV. The series focuses on Daria Morgendorffer, a smart, acerbic, and somewhat misanthropic teenage girl who observes the world around her. The show is set in the fictional suburban American town of Lawndale and is a satire of high school life, and full of allusions to and criticisms of popular culture and social classes.

You know it's going to be a great episode when Butters is the main character. "Do you know what I am saying?"

Though I do really like Killface, Xander Crews' interactions with Stan and his girlfriend have me in tears.
