I have a pretty huge music database with different playlists over different HDs. ATM I'm using itunes but it begins to get slower and slower (and the more often it crashes) the more music I have, but the main reason I'm using is because of the playlist organization and my Iphone.

should I change to foobar2000 ? would take a lot of time to reorganize or can I export all my itunes playlists?

i use windows media player. never had a problem with it.

the main problems with itunes, so far as i remember, are putting music on external drives (wmp sync is just an interface for managing folders as though through explorer), and updating the library was a pain too.

i just make 320s of all my flacs so that's not a problem, but maybe i should migrate to one that supports flac...
