no need to buy, just find a decent bar that has a decent location. then scrap together to rent a decent sound system if they havent got one. then promote the night. if it works it works, if it doesnt it doesnt. people are doing that downstairs at the Looking Glass in petworth.

Either way, the crowd last night was great for the most part as was the music.

Thats actually a good point. I just moved here about a month ago. Where I was living before I was here there were a few shitty night clubs that were 18+, but then there were kids with fake IDs coming in under 18. As someone in their late 20s, I don't want to be out partying with mostly people in their late teens.

I say, why do we need to wait for an expensive DJ booking to get decent music in town? Wouldn't it be better if there were a few places that booked in local guys every weekend, like guys who were playing decent music?
