Re: ***BROSTEP PRODUCTION CHALLENGE***
8 entries so far! Shaping up to be a good contest. Might have to do it by rounds/head to head like they do in the 48hr at this rate.
Re: ***BROSTEP PRODUCTION CHALLENGE***
I think rounds is an excellent idea
Wouldn't mind 320 copies of some of the tunes...can put together a minimix of the entries

Re: ***BROSTEP PRODUCTION CHALLENGE***
ugh why do these always have such short deadlines, do the creators not have jobs or normal lives to contend with?

Re: ***BROSTEP PRODUCTION CHALLENGE***
yeah take a 808 but you have to cut it below 60 hertz cause it might interfear with your screech otherwise

I know I'm not a producer, yet I'm intrigued by what will come of this!
Check out my podcasts, the Dubstep Directive and the Chilldown Period, at http://ublf.libsyn.com and http://ublf-coast-to-coast.blogspot.com!
Re: ***BROSTEP PRODUCTION CHALLENGE***
Lol I'm failing at this. My tune is going halfway brostep...this is embarrassing.
Re: ***BROSTEP PRODUCTION CHALLENGE***
The key to success is taking something familiar and adding your own twist...a brostep track can still be brostep yet inherently yours by the techniques you apply to it.
Re: ***BROSTEP PRODUCTION CHALLENGE***
But I'm not going full retard enough
..... I'm pulling a Yeah-Dubz now.

Re: ***BROSTEP PRODUCTION CHALLENGE***
I'm now the baddest of them all. About to submit.

Don't know if you consider this brostep (frankly there are way too many catageroies, if its good music, respect it) but its 140 BPM. This is the 4th song i've made and I just learned about EQ so take it easy on me as far as little conflicting frequencies. http://www.dubstepforum.com/posting.php ... 8&t=254076#
