all i could find through google was that there's a west indian centre in cov, couldnt see anything about any nights on though... that kasbah club sounds pretty shit
the campus is right on the edge of canley so it's pretty far out but there's decent bus connections to cov and leamington apparently. i think someone said it takes 30-45 mins to get to brum on the bus, dunno bout trains.
what's brum like for decent dubstep/house? all i really know of is area recordings and SRC but i'm guessing there's much more than that
and fair does ahaha, it's still useful getting your perspective though since you actually spent time in cov

At least i managed to get my degree before they increased the yearly tuition fees to £9000 a year. I feel sorry for people who will have to pay that, and still not find a job in their degree afterwards.

9 grand was actually cool for me cos if I'd have gone uni the year before I would've been an international student, meaning 15 grand a year with no loans available. So yeah, not everyone lost out ;-) this is a very small minority though lol

You talk like 9k, which is closer to 20k USD, isn't a lot of money to begin with.

9000 euro is 12,000 USD. 12,000 a year for college in the US is extremely low.

And I'm not speaking about the contextual severity of the price, I'm saying, 9000 in the hole hurts you just as much as it hurts us at the end of the day when adjusted for PPP.

And tbh, if you go to uni in the US and you're actually paying that much money, you probably don't deserve a university education to begin with

That was a joke, but my point was that if you're paying that much, you clearly didn't qualify for any kind of scholarship/bursary/whatever and there''s a reason for that.

It's seriously not hard to get into good schools for a great deal less than that in the United States. If you're a weak enough candidate to have to pay that much, well you deserve to pay that much.

12 grand a year off a tab of 56 still leaves you owing 44 grand. Please stop talking out your ass....
