1.5 million arabs live peacefully in Israel, not racial. By now, palestine would have been integrated peacefully or given their own land if Islam hadn't chosen Palestine as their soapbox, and if Christianity/Judaism hadn't chosen Israel as theirs. It's stupidity in religion. Has nothing to do with the land at all. Arguing over the land is fucking idiotic. If they gave Palestine 99% of the land in Israel, they'd be bombing for the 1% the next month because it has nothing to do with land. It has everything to do with other countries with other interests keying up islamic extremists to start shit, and the israeli government replying in kind.

Howcome Palestine is an area in Isreal?
It is if you consider it one. It's a technicality. Israel doesn't want people to consider it a country and our governments wuv Israel so they don't consider it a country either, so now it's not a country.

Borders are make-believe. It's a country if you want it to be one.
To me borders are like genres in music
so unnecessary and only creating a divide where it should unite
oh well opinions opsminions

it's not only religion tho Pkay don't forget the water etc

do you care about the situation? If so, do you care enough to do something about it? If so, is this it? Is this the most productive use of the angst caused by the situation, is there any better ways to do this?

Sometimes, people feel things. And sometimes they want to express those feelings with words.

Polarised courses of action. Is there a middle ground?

if ur ideas of making a difference are as polarised as that i can see why u dont see my point.

thats what we need, someone to polarise the issue.

is caring then? Does anybody really care, i mean truely give a fuck. Or do we pretend to to be socailly accepted. If we do care why is this all we do? What more can we do? You'd think caring and the feeling of powerlessness would propell us to do something more but alas...

slightly off-topic, but I was wondering: would you say the current occupations and conflicts you see in the Middle East as like a modern day version of colonialism? because it all does seem like nations trying to acquire more power for an empire-like status, using religion as an excuse... which is pretty much what a lot of traditional colonialism was based on with the power of the Church, wasnt it?

yeah, but people on the other side are not one of the world's most powerful militaries they're in a poverty stricken occupied territory where half the population are children (who literally can't vote for hamas).

like i say, hamas, their rhetoric and their rockets do nothing but fan flames. but imo maniacs like this guy and even the more "moderate" quarters like, as i said, likud, are the primary threat, and a greater threat to peace, justice and human life than hamas
