I think we all need to get more arty in 2013- talk about our inspirations and emotions and stuff (though that ira glass quote should be banned)

More deference to people with bigger post counts.

Limited functionality for new members with less than 10/20 posts or something. Dunno how doable this is, but if they have less than 20 or so posts, when they try to make a new thread, have a message pop-up saying that they can't and meanwhile, should read all the stickies/production bible (and sticky that too) or use the search feature instead.

Or just the limited functionality and have a sticky meta thread for new members conatining the production bible and moneyshot thread.

I like this idea a lot. "What gear do I need? " and " Which interface should I get?" is asked multiple times a day and it seems those asking don't become regular users.

I would like to see way less thread derails like most of the posts on this page of this thread in 2013.

Maybe a maturity requirement. I'm sick of reading through bullshit to get to the substance. It wastes so much of our time and usually isn't funny. I think there is a general discussion forum for that.

Also, badmouthing Skril is so redundant and counterproductive, it should be banned or discouraged. No one cares how O.G. you are and how whack Brostep is. Everything there is to say on that subject has been said.
