Yeah, I definitely agree it's more the copycats that piss me off rather than him himself. I mean, he is a bit of a homophobe. (in the Louis C.K sense) by all accounts, but he has just made his own sound essentially and it's not badly produced from an objective point of view, hits hard.

The UKF Dubstep channel however is just full of artists that might as well be Skrillex and really if they were tagged as him people probably wouldn't know.....it's musical copypaste to the extreme with these whining sounds etc.....kind of like the overuse of the "yoy" Doctor P style massive patch.

The old dubstep "cliche" used to be people going "wob wob wob wob" but the "wobs" at least sounded original.
