btw, I used to give a fuck about this discussion, but I just realized there are so many bigger problems out there. Like I'm staunchly atheist, but I just feel things like capitalism and government are far bigger detriments to society than religion.

And Maher basically advocates using drones and has no problem with the US fucking countries like Iran in the ass. His foreign policy is shit. Plus he pretends to be critical of Obama but that $1 million check he wrote him says otherwise. Just your standard liberal.

yeah I agree his foreign policy beliefs are
questionable. I'm not sure he "has no problem with the US fucking countries like Iran in the ass" though. And he is critical of Obama when Obama does something hypocritical. You've only got two choices in America. The way Maher sees it is that Obama is better than the alternative - Mitt Romney. Don't see what's wrong with that.

yeah I agree his foreign policy beliefs are questionable. I'm not sure he "has no problem with the US fucking countries like Iran in the ass" though. And he is critical of Obama when Obama does something hypocritical.

I don't even know what to say to you. Liberalism is a leftist ideology, something you labelled yourself a few posts back. Maher's politics are rather ambiguous actually, as you proved with what you said about his foreign policy beliefs, so me thinking he's a genius gives you no clear picture of what I am.

hes a libertarian in regard to social issues, he doesn't really call himself a full fledged libertarian

compared to the prospect of starting a war with iran, writing a virus is a pretty great approach tbh. if you watched his show at all you would know that he that last sentence couldn't be further from the truth.
and just because he donated to the obama campaign doesn't mean that he can't be critical of him... all the contribution means is that he wanted him to win over romney... i'd consider myself a supporter of obama's as well but there's still a lot of qualms i have with him. no politician will ever be 100% ideal (aside from bernie sanders

So when talking about ignorance it helps when you don't claim to not care about facts when corrected. The type of ignorance you're claiming of theists is the very ignorance you're displaying. What has this being a dubstep forum got to do with anything, it's a forum that you decided to post about religion on. If you are going to claim that your stand about religion is reasoned why should I believe you when your presentation of the evidence is incorrect and you don't care that it's incorrect.
If one of the things you're going to do with your life is stand up against the idiocracy (sic) (lol) of religion you need to do it better than you're doing it here.
