This is the most important thing. It's pretty well known people hate the terms 'Dungeon' and 'Future Garage' round here, but we all know what they're talking about when someone uses it.

this '130' stuff varies wayyyy to much to give it a genre, and the whole needing a genre to refer to it as something, seems like the first step towards it stagnating.

130 is a lame name though, why call this shit just based on its tempo, you cant just say you like 130 cos everything is different, well not everything, there does seem to be a collective of people who are making a similar vibe :/

completely understand people wanting to make points about the genre/not a genre debate and that its unavoidable to some extent, freedom of speech etc(I see strong arguments on both sides), but would really love this thread to just be about posting tunes around 130 bpm tempo in current uk dance music instead. Will prove a lot more useful and enjoyable for people trying to introduce themselves to this sort of thing I feel.
