I think Zimmerman just has self esteem issues because he's a fat fucking pussy and probably has a tiny dick.

Well he's only gotten fat since he got arrested, he was actually in shape when this happened iirc.

I'm glad Trayvon beat his ass some...

It was the last thing he did before a paranoid stalking weirdo shot him in the chest...

Shit with how many changes his story has had, the inconsistencies, and how poorly the prosecution has been at presenting their case it was legally the smartest move for them.
Just reading this thread you can tell the necessary reasonable doubt to get off what he is charged with, now a wrongful death suit he's fucked.

I know, but it just says a lot about his character if he doesnt even have the balls to defend himself.

Well even if he does walk, he's going to end up with civil charges and likely loose that. Plus most of the public think he's a piece of shit.
He's fucked regardless.

This wouldn't have happened if paranoid weirdos weren't the first people to seek guns to use without discression.

It's kinda like the Tibetans defending themselves against the Chinese...it's a really fucked irony.

Paranoid weirdos with criminal records and violent offenses on file shouldn't be allowed to own a gun, let alone a concealed carry permit.

So- If there is always going to be paranoid weirdos...

Do you think there are extinuating factors or social constants that can excacerbate their distorted perceptions...

or should we all just prepare for the quick draw...because Bob Shoots-Alot has got us beat...

I just think that if we spend more time say...

painting white taras....instead of running around playing first person shooter games...
we might not be as unstable as a people...

This topic is just a little sensitive for me right now...

My Dad just put this flag with silhouettes of army guys with guns walking across a field...
...right in the middle of my front garden - and frankly I am furious....

I'm about to make him reach under the Japanese Maple to get my Buddha statue out from under there...
because he is not going to be residing anywhere near the wartime field of death...

I am also not touching another weed or bit of mulch till the thing is out of there...

I mean - can you image a vet - with PTSD visiting our house...
and he goes to enjoy the beautiful entry garden I've made - and instead he gets images of war...

FUCK THAT STUPID SHIT!!!

I am sooooo mad.

why are you pro-guns? I'm open to being pro-guns, but I just don't know of a single good, rational reason that cannot be refuted to be pro-gun except "I just like guns", because they are like a vice in this country, similar to drugs, alcohol, gambling, and prostitution.

Just because something is a vice doesn't mean there needs to be laws prohibiting it. Firearms can be used for hunting be it for survival or sport, defense, or just as a hobby all responsibly.
A minority of people misusing them doesn't mean ban it, if that was the case most things would be banned. The majority of firearm owners fall into the responsible bracket.
Also it's usually not legal firearms that criminals are using, all prohibition does is make the black market more viable and lucrative while not curbing the actual problem.
I will say there needs to be reform on background checks and mandates on things like trigger guards and safety classes before purchase.
Honestly I lean libertarian and believe we need less government involvement and people taking more personal responsibility for their actions.
There are plenty of things I may morally object to, but believe should be legal as it is infringing on others lives while having zero bearing on mine.
