There's tons of producers from LA, but Skrillex is the only one I can think of that's from the actual city I live in. When we were in high school I remember his band (From First To Last - the last minute of Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites always gives me a throwback) being one of THE local bands, played a ton of local shows that my friends and I would always go to, along with pretty much everyone else from our graduating class... actually our school in general. He's always been talented as fuck, no matter what you think about him/the way he influenced dubstep/how he came up, the kid was born to make music... hard to deny that haha.

There's another one who's not from my city exactly, but one city over so it's close enough I guess... can't think of the name at the moment.

Also, my brother. (And hopefully me one day )
