Are there other places you can go for frequent dubstep though?

If there was frequent Dubstep there I think I'd probably go there. However, doctor warewolf doesn't count as Dubstep.

Can't blame laundry for their desire to exploit brosteppers imo.

Probably get raped (figuratively speaking) because of this, but I consider Pendulum and Knife Party decent Australian bands/artists.

Pendulum had in total of 7 guys in it and the original three of them are Australian, they got 4 other guys into the boat from UK at some point, since they wanted live drummer to sample, guitarist and MC. They replaced the first drummer with different one at 2009.

80% of the stuff (arrangement, sound design, mixing, mastering, vocals) was done by Rob Swire (Australian) + They started in Australia and had only Australian members in the band for the first 4 years so i'd count it pretty much Australian band.

Swire and Gareth McGrillen (bassist and producer on the side in Pendulum, also Australian) formed Knife Party after Pendulum got scrapped so it's purely Australian.

ah well, we've had much worse sellouts,
like most of our stand-up surfing champs & Brett Lee.

which makes our underground ths,
whom even their mums have never heard of,
so much more creditable.

yeah Bloody Fist, Nasenbluten. Mark N (great turntablist) outta Newcastle north of Sydney
but I didn't think this thread was about talent
thought it was about the hype associated with it being Australia's turn to be hip
cos we've got all these cool producers...

but, sorry, we don't
just bedroom producers producing crap like elsewhere
but with connections pushing them as novel.
