All that melts away when the lights are down and the bass is up.

lol you know i mix house and techno

it's not that, i just like to do dramatic chopping with basslines. maybe i need to practise more on a rotary, but i can't mix as well on a rotary than a up fader.

that dorisburg tune is a prime example as the kick /bass is very heavy

i don't feel comfortable with dropping tunes as there's no cut off point like there is with an up fader

oh right... :)
it's indeed a practice thing. i've seen efdemin mixing on a rotary. he was dropping chines quicker than an eagles eye can see.

it's all about practice i guess.

lol at this becoming a mixer thread, but yes i love my ecler

no opinion either way about these pioneers tbh. the proof is going to be in the pudding so what's the point in judging before anyone has used/heard one?

Lol.

Personally I think these TTs look really nice, and considering it's Pioneer the price could be a lot worse. I always found the +/-8 pitch on my Technics to be a bit limiting, but not worth the upgrade really just for that plus a few other extras. If these become the club standard for TTs though I don't see how it can be a bad thing really.
