Defo, but how rigid is the criteria?mks wrote:I thought it was part of the criteria for tru head status.wolf89 wrote:No but I got given one for free.mks wrote:Have you ever cut a dubplate?

Must a candidate fulfill each criterion or is it a broader assessment? Are some more important? Could some make or break an application?
I think the most important part is that you actually like dubstep. Would it be fair to put that above all other things?

There's limited potential for getting truhead status in Oslo though, but I'm getting there

Re: #Truheads VS #LADS
Like it's that difficult to cut dubplates.
Re: #Truheads VS #LADS
i wouldnt say dubstep was an improtant one tbf, youd just shrug it off with like - 'yeah dubstep was alright, kinda got a bit stale around 06/07 so i moved back to techno'jesslem wrote:Defo, but how rigid is the criteria?mks wrote:I thought it was part of the criteria for tru head status.wolf89 wrote:No but I got given one for free.mks wrote:Have you ever cut a dubplate?

music wise you just need to know the important locations and contributing factors to the house and techno scenes

Re: #Truheads VS #LADS
what dubplate wolf
yeah you can just cut whatever you want for like 30 quid on the internet might cut torrented mp3 of anti war dub one side, party in the usa on the other
i'd say dubstep possibly got more interesting around then agent but that wasn't the point you were making

Re: #Truheads VS #LADS
techno and house are not exactly truhead genres. It's about the UK shit mainly
oldskool junglist = maximum truhead

Techno mildly. Tunes like midnight request line and pretty much most of Bristolean dubstep was pretty techy.
