I'm deliberately gunna attempt to treat new names like new people,
take them at post value
& not try to associate them with what I knew of and thought of them before.
I hope this doesn't offend ninja mates.

this is actually crap
I find it hard to distinguish all but several ninjas by what they post anyway
and the above was an attempt to excuse my lack of attentiveness.

I think you're filling the vacuum of BM's departure.

Who do you know on these terms?
magma, gwa, rats, mks, figs been round long enough for me to usually pick
finj, sigs, bm, dago & the Baron are distinctive voices
molzie's got his offhand way
noway's got consistent concerns about the wider world & seems to get my humour
can't always pick nev, kidshuffle nor shum, to my chagrin
johnny & agent, if they weren't the same person, are equally provocative
jim & kay have swagger
kali & some of the irregular long-termers stand out when they post (I miss sloptroth for this reason)
tbh a lot of you younger guys have a similar patois and way of relating...hubb, jerkhands, johnletham, yourself etal...(not a put down)
so I find it hard to distinguish you, particularly as I easily forget each of your unfolding histories
...& not having met ninjas face to face makes it difficult to pin individual personalities to words.
