I'm not bald though. Not totally sure what I was doing looking at this thread though seeing as I'm completely disinterested in gaming. Noticed that people only seemed to be posting here, thought it was some sort of Shonkyist behaviour thinking "nah he'll never find us" but I did.

i've got to be honest the last two mario games i really enjoyed were super mario world on the snes and new super mario brothers on the ds

can't be dealing with mario in 3d, same with sonic

interestingly there's something very '2d' about galaxy, imo it's definitely the closest there's been to making a 3d platform game that emulates the gameplay of its 2d ancestors.

I remember the feeling of playing the first 3d mario game on the N64.

it was sheer awe of something I had never seen before, as though I had opened my eyes for the first time, coupled with the frustration of a malevolent camera, that I was alos at the mercy of this fabolous piece of technology.

actually, in that regard, it was quite a bit like 2001: a space odyssey.
