That's a shame. I've only got one dj set of Bmore Club and it sounds exactly like what you described - it's also one of my favourite ever sets. Do you have any links to where I can find more of this, esp. the good loopy stuff?
Online? Not too many. I know that DJ Technics sells alot of his mixes from his homepage....but $10 for something you download always seemed a little pricey to me
www.baltimoreclubtracks.com
I'd just suggest googling the hell out of "baltimore club mixes" and see what you find

Well put. Did you make it to any of the DnB parties in Baltimore in the mid 90's?
Nope...before my time. I've heard plenty of the stories though

I did though!
Probably the tail end though, I remember summer of '96 when Kemistry & Storm played a small warehouse event that got raided by the Baltimore police, and that started the whole shitstorm of problems around the Ultraworld events. And things pushed more towards events in DC at that time.

It's funny how there are classic tunes / songs in so many genres but oftern you'll feel like you never really like just one genre. Thats a bit how I feel about music in general.
Can;t stand alot of hard tearout or progressive breaks stuff nowadays, though I still like variety's of Breakbeat music. The stuff thats simply phat twisted breakbeats and or booty bass stuff.
The main problem I have felt with the breaks sound that I really used to like is the scene is plagued with producers cashing in with terrible bootlegs and it's moved too close to house and electro house crap. Fuck I hate new school electro stuff with a passion.
I still like all the 2-step and breakbeat garage vibes. Something sticks with me there. I still regularly keep on the lookout for a good bumpin 2-step tune.

but there again there is alot of gay bling bling and house crap in 2-step, It's really hard to find a good dark, moody or good vibe 2step tune without cheesy diva singing or mc's shatting about rollex's.
