lol, the kinda thing you wanna wrap in bubble wrap before you take on road right??macroclimate wrote:This one was utterly perfect... 57,000 original miles on the thing, it was immaculate. Reason I ended up selling it is because I worried about it too damned much! It wasn't a good car for a 16 year old... hahah.dubluke wrote:the 56 buick is a personal favourite of mine

its a rather historical lawn ornament, isnt it?
ive driven it all of 200 miles.... the carburetor runs rich.. REAL rich.. and theres a bad oil leak at the main seal.. i have little mechanical aptitude and even less tools... i paid a guy close to 2 grand to get it good.. new engine, new clutch plate, new valves.. etc. etc. etc.. and now hes "too busy" to get back in it for a few more months.
no to mention the keys were stolen.

wow . ok. that's a bit of a tough one then. engine block oil leaks could mean a lot of things. messy. if you have the space, i'd hang onto it. they're only going to get even more collectable down the line. maybe get a quote from someone to rebuild the engine.guerillaeye wrote:its a rather historical lawn ornament, isnt it?

Here is a repost of the dirt dog '98...I've been considering what kind of vanity tag to put on the front and I think I'm going to do MO55 - from that Bruv video I posted in the "please put a tag to this photo" thread..
It is a manual by the way - I really really love...um..driving manually.
Keeps crackhead kids from asking to borrow it as well - functional aspect..true drivers lock.
It is not tricked out in anyway..but I do like those blackish rims..from the other posts..
Both corners of the back bumper are cracked..city parking will do that...frickin' dumpsters..
