That bit in Spy Kids when the priest molests Spy Kid 1 using a crucifix, two teaspoons of holy water and the Gobbler-Gadget is horrirrirrific

Corpsey wrote:My mate showed me a scene from hostel today, it wasn't at all unwatchable but just struck me as tremendously gratuitous and depressing. Some woman hanging from a ceiling with her tits out (of course), some men in leather jackets (of course) lighting candles (of course) and then another woman coming in (of course) getting her tits out (of course) and then bathing in in her blood (of course).

What is the point of a film like that unless you are a) an imbecile or b) a psychopath?
LOL. Such a poor film.

have it but haven't seen it. maybe tonight. also on Unit 731, Andrey Iskanov's Philosophy of a Knife

from rules of attraction
the bathtub suicide scene

youtube link
you bastard. couldn't watch that all the way through. for me i think it was the music and the calm look on her face. :|

that's some Brett Easton Ellis novel no?

something about bathtubs and blades - the scene in Haneke's The Pianist for me is a bit unnerving.

Penis cutting and gang rape scene where horrific. I was too young when i saw that film.
i have a rubbish edited-to-shit version. i tried to sell if on ebay and they sent me a massage saying that they'd removed the listing because selling that film went against their principles/policies. apparently, films like Caligula and (possibly, i can't remember) Baise Moi are also removed due to content restrictions (i think it's ebay's zero tolerance stance on porn policy that gets these banned).

annoyingly, i spit on your grave was available freely on ebay canada and ebay korea. :| and to my mind, there are worse films out there that are also available. The August Underground Trilogy?? (actually quite crap.)
Corpsey wrote:what about that scene in Sleepless in Seattle where Tom Hanks stuffs a child full of his shit?

DARK
LOL.

i watched Blood Diamond last night. it's quite brutal. not unwatchable per se, but some scenes definitely made me flinch. guess it was the subject matter.

also, the mud rape bit (amongst others) in Cannibal Holocaust. a mate of mine almost disowned me for making him watch that film. oops.

well - apart from the that cutting moments thing, most of the posts seem to cite salo and irreversible. both of which have been mentioned here.

the piano teacher is a brutal film. all of haneke's films are pretty sadistic.

I've not seen that yet..I wasn't a big fan of Funny Games - there didn't seem any point to it. Hidden is a fantastic film though,
