Agreed....the question is whether global warming is primarily cause by humans. This is becoming an excuse for heavy global carbon taxation by a globally based regulatory system. There are also huge amounts of scientists who will agree that our temperature change is directly correlated from the sun's temp rather than primarily being shifted by human activity. And please don't assume it is "the oil companies" who are fighting the theory of man made global warming cause they aren't. Below is a link to an article where a head of British Petroleum is talking about the global carbon tax. That is because all of the new regulations continue to raise oil and gas prices. I'll also put some articles up supporting what I have stated above. It is important to read the other sides of the issue because some of the people who helped start the environmental movement have the completely opposite view of Al Gore. Check out the articles and movies below.Raven^ wrote:I never said that I don't believe that this is happening, what I don't believe is that this is all because of human actions. If this would be because of human actions how would you explain that the heat of the planets around us is rising and more. I don't think there is anything we can do about this, this is just a natural cycle that the planets go through.
After every warm era must come a cold one, and we are about to enter one.
A side note on population reduction....the people who go around saying that there are to many humans and that we will run out of food and supplies have been around for 1000's of years. Their theories have not held sound because theories about the end of our over populated world have never been able to take into account new technologies which have always helped stabalize these issues. Also suggesting reduction in the population is many peoples excuse for mass genocide (google henry kissenger population reduction...he's talking about 70% reduction folks).
I care about the environment and my overuse of resources. However I see nothing but fear mongering and profiteering coming from people who live in huge mansions and think that we have to be taxed for our use of resources.

ps I don't agree with everything Alex Jones says about this, but he has compiled a great list of resources to understand the full scope of the new environmental disaster hype.
