i don't quite get what you think you're defending? all this stems from the thread title which the poster probably didn't put a lot of thought into and didn't realise it would end up in these kinds of ridiculous responses

i'm all for equal oppurtunities for women but militant feminism (which thankfully seems to mostly belong to an older generation and fading out) does nothing to further the cause, in fact it does the exact opposite. fighting against an oppressor which in this case doesn't exist (but of course unfortunately it still does in other areas) and acting like a victim when you aren't one isn't exactly helping the feminist cause

Militant to me generally involves someone making a stand that isn't really justified and hence has not possibility of a positive outcome for the person involved. There are many areas (particularly on this forum) where such a reaction would be totally correct (and I have called a few people up on it in the past), however this isn't it and some people are really not coming out of it very well.

I think girls in Europe (especially the UK) are hotter than the ones here in the USA. Their fashions and their features are are different and very distinct in a attractive way. English accents turn me on in a woman as well. I think Foreign women are more attractive than your average USA girl. Can somebody argue this?
