there's loads that could be done, but very little that needs to be done. and as people have said the colour scheme etc whilst maybe not looking amazing is easy on the eye and doesn't draw attention to itself, which is pretty important seeing as how many people come here whilst at work

If they would unlock the feature, you could make the color scheme whatever you want, and use whatever installed themes there are, meaning you could just leave things the way they are if YOU want to, whereas I do not want to, so my experience would be totally a personalized experience. That is what I am getting at.

Sure, a good majority of users don't use the private messaging system, but some of us do. So you shouldn't cut off your nose to spite your face. You should work with the nose, maybe try blowing it instead, ya know?

That is all I'm getting at. We have a lot more in common here than people think. I don't understand how I can make a thread about something positive and there are so many fucking stnuc here to be honest.

My suggestions are for the betterment of the forums, not to cause a problem. Better software, better coding, more added features, such as the ability to attach an image or a sound clip to your post(production forum massif!) et cetera

That was all I was getting at. People need to chill, for real. A ticker with "now playing" can be VERY easily accomplished and take very little coding. Hell, half the people in this forum have a "xxx number of listers" banner in the signature for Dubstep.fm

Really there is no reason other than pure laziness or an unwillingness to accept changes that need to come about that causes it. Nobody wants a yellow forum, and I think I speak for most everyone when I say that.

The only reason I can think of to not install a Vbulletin is because someone doesn't wanna spend the money. Nobody has to, I have an extra FULL license for Vbulletin to give away to DSF if they'd install it.

I think the majority of people just dont care tbh. Everything works fine and I have access to all the music, link and people that I need. If others feel differently then its fair enough. Message dubway to see what he says. Maybe get a poll started or something?

Who knows... the point is, it's a message board geared towards music and music production, mixed sets and radio shows, club events and raves... what better way to celebrate that than by adding a feature to include clips(or even 320 copies of tunes in a post, which could expire after a while of being there, so they won't bog the server down ya know?)

they could even make it so you can't upload MP3, so it has to be RAR or ZIP files, to prevent linking and direct streaming of the tunes.

Any number of easy and awesome fixes, which are FREE with my offer. It just makes sense. What doesn't make sense is to ride a bike when you have a motorcycle and a full tank of gas.

All of the content will be moved over to Vbulletin.. All posts, all threads, all music, all dubs, all mixes, all everything... all users.. EVERYTHING will move to Vbulletin. No reason to not do it. Laziness init.
