Yeah but thats because he's a TV critic
He's alot more careful than he looks though. He doesnt really critique comedy because people can just turn round and say "You made Nathan Barley/the eleven o clock show" and hasnt critiqued much drama recently either because ohe doesnt want people dissing Dead Set in return.
He introduced me to The Wire, though so I'm grateful.

to be fair nathan barley and the 11 o'clock show were very funny and dead set was pretty sick too... maybe i'm turning into a brooker fanboy

Nathan Barley wasnt funny. It was clever, but lacking in actual laughs IMO.

You know you werent "supposed" to quote it. It was part of the whole "getting it" thing that brooker made a huge fuss about, saying that people "didnt get it" if they didnt like it. Quoting it made you a Nathan Barley-alike (see The Mighty Boosh and all the fucktards that quote that endlessly out of context). Think its bollocks myself, clever, but didnt quite work out because in the end those bits
were the amongst the funniest.
