Well, a couple of my mates were planning on going in full Ninja gear.... so when they heard the Space theme they were thinking of adapting it to Jedis - mainly for the chance to have lightsaber fights a rave... I reckon we might all take that route.

I'd fancy going as Darth Maul, but I can't be bothered with all the facepaint!

MIB would be pretty cool, but I reckon suits and ties might get a liiiiiitle bit hot!

Haha, I was thinking of going as a Sith as well, and I know what you mean, brah, the suits and tie business is hindering my decision. I'm one of the hard crew, innit, I be avin' it from morning to night, and I sweat like a motherfucking...fucker. I'm so glad I didn't put any make up on for the last, BF, I would've just sweated that shit off.

Apparently they've sorted the air-con for the Weekender this year, but last year it was FUCKING MINGING in the main room. Me and a mate took radiation suits (Chernobyl was the fancy dress theme last year!) and they didn't leave our bags!!

Air conditioning or no, I still manage to stain, rip, destroy, damage or lose practically anything/everything I take to Bangface, so the the concept of dressing up in a full suit, loefahs n' all, with a pair of sunglasses and a big laser gun and an intention to keep everything sustained is wishful thinking.

Bangface @ Christmas, I went like this -

...and see if you can guess how many items of clothing I managed to maintain that evening. I'll give you a clue; none of them are in the picture.

Still! I'm well excited. Just been watching the 2008 back-log of videos, hyping myself up even more.

Second in from the right. Santa suit made out of a red boiler suit and I even had a belt buckle made out of a bin bag and a pretzel for some reason!

Oh, and on the destruction front, my mate made constructive use of a speed comedown last year to tot up all the prices on the 'damages pricelist' and work out how much it'd cost us if we wanted to burn our chalet to the ground when we left.

It was only about £3k... they even had a price for the roof!!

Glasto again, last year was my first time and loved it, the experience and vibe about the place was something else.

Last year had quite alot of dubstep.

Appleblim (twice) caught him on the friday and played an old skool garage set.
Skream and Benga (dj set)
Magnetic Man
Bassclef
Caspa and Rusko

Hopefully the weather is as good as last year.

I have been going to Glastonbury on and off for nearly ten years and have still haven't gone for the music, it's all about the crack. I miss loads of bands I'd like to see but it's great fun sitting in a field with your best mates, not a care in teh world, and everyone else is in the same happy bubble* :D

Anyone go to Garden festival in Croatia last year?

No dubstep, loads of deep house/soul kinda stuff it looks like, but also very sunny and relatively cheap.

I'm also thinking of Bestival, especially now Martyn, 2562, Appleblim have been added to the lineup

I think any thoughts of Glade have possibly bitten the dust - my shitbag consultancy has said that only one of us working here can take holiday at a time, and a colleague of mine is programming one of the stages - I think he gets dibs over the days off!!

Now to organise Dour....
