This is huge! Joe, Pearson Sound, Brackles, Martin Kemp, Pangaea, Ramadanman - killing it at the mo. Nice to hear so much forward thinking music!

out today!

boomkat single of the week too:

"Utterly sick release from the snappily titled Joe bringing Hessle Audio onto their seventh catalogue number and the first since the world wrecking Pangaea 12". Tracks from this 12" have been doing the rounds on mixtapes and radio shows for some months now, recieving rotations from Martyn, Grievous Angel, Dusk & Blackdown and the label head trio of Ramadanman, Pangaea and Ben UFO. 'Grimelight' on the A-side is a slow burning post-2-stepper with Burial indebted vinyl crackle textures and a tight rolling conga riddim, but it pales in significance to 'Rut' on the flipside. A poised slice of mighty breakbeat science taking cues from Photek's melodic drum cadences with a disciplined minimalism comparable to Peverelist or 2562 coloured with daubs of midnight blue rhodes chords for a crafty little number. KILLER!!!!"

What I like about Hessle releases is I never know quite what to expect. Except quality.

Big up!
