no-one made any fuss about the shackelton boxset, and its almost exactly the same price per plate, and they did not have any colour in the printing
I paid about £22 for the Shackleton boxset which included x3 vinyls, box, CD, poster, black and white vinyl sleeves which seems more than fair.

You need to hear it on a system then you'd pay

I can't wait to see the prices on discogs once this sells out.

DISCOGS PRICES WILL BE UNSURPRISING.

Haha. Nah, it's not!

Really can't see the justification in price here. 4 plates for £30? Swamp take a lot of heat for their prices sometimes, but put out a 2 x 12" today for £10.99. :?

In b4 IF U UNDERSTOOD THE VIBES U WOULD PAY IT

This was at the end of a sentence explaining why i thought it cost so much, so taken completely out of context. The Swamp releases were probably made at their bedroom/studio then pressed. Mala travelled to and from Cuba (which aint cheap), went through god knows how many stems, and surely the Cuban musicians will get a cut. All that has to be paid for. And that's why i said, in comparison, £30 is cheap

yeah its really not that bad considering youre getting four records... thats a little more than 7 quid each, which isnt that unreasonable, especially for 180g plates. also, you've got to remember to consider the artwork and ensuring that all the musicians involved get their fair share.

you lot will moan about anything

I've already addressed all those points dude! It's just my opinion man, obviously if I absolutely loved the records, I probably wouldn't say anything.

I'm not moaning ffs. Just saying I struggle to see the justification here, and I stick by it. :w:

Yep!

Ultimately, it doesn't matter what I think, if you like it that much, you'll buy it, I'm just posing the questions. :4:

my bad, missed your post. and it's not directed at you in particular anyways :w:

fair points. like you said, it comes down to a difference in opinion on what you think is justifiable.

1) Act like resident forum oldfag despite being 21(?) and with a late 2010 join date, pretend you've been listening to Horsepower Productions since you were 10 years old.
2) Make cynical, condescending remarks about the current state of dubstep, or price of records, or some related issue.
3) Wait until someone disagrees with you.
4) Basically call them a prick, but then back this up with a 'woah, you misunderstood me man!' sentiment, and use this smiley: :w: so as to try and redeem yourself and look like a chill dude.
