Big on the Eastern Promises sequel



Last night also watched this;



Classic heist film from Kubrick, and one of Tarantino's big influences on Reservoir Dogs. Was one of the first (if not the first, not quite sure) films to mess with chronological order, with the same series of scenes being replayed from the point of view of different characters.



Stone cold amazingness of a film. Big influence on Drive in the way that LA is filmed, early electro soundtrack, lots of long shots with sizzling cinematogrophy, and one of the best car chases in a film ever. Like seriously. Up there with Ronin, Bullit, Mad Max 2 et al in terms of awesomeness.
