@edn
Good stuff man. Bring out ALL of the strings though. Id say and if you bring them up you could bring the drums back. otherwise its a great sound. would like a tad more glitch out of it even(just a personal opinion with that though :) )

@alexvont
Cool vibe. I think the synths needs some work. It sounds too out of the box still. maybe try a splash of delay in the higher freqs of it? its more the later one i really hear. but i really like the groove. good for a mellow afternoon outside. like the mix too. everything is getting nice levels.

@wiseguy
loving it man. i keep listening to this track and just want more of it.

@raincoatdisaster
thanks for the comments on the last WIP i posted. really digging what you posted. super heavy. i wanna hear where you go with it. think this would be a definite groove though especially if you go into more of a drum and bass feel with it, i love that stuff. great builds though and sound design.

@amphibian
another fav that i have heard on here. what are you using for those horn sounds? have a cool vibe to them. like the overall groove to the track.

another great week of tunes to everyone else too.

heres is one i have been working on this past week, that i am calling weekend. my original mix the bass was just a bit too low(i always seem to have this problem). did something i have never done though, which was after i mastered and bounced it down, i chopped it up a bit and just put a few bits of volume increases for some extra body and i think it sounds not half bad. would love to hear what others say with some good speakers.

the track lacks in the melodic area of music, becomes empty right after the drop, and is missing feedback on other peoples' tunes
...in my opinion

@danimal: The intro harmonies are hypnotizing. The sound of straight midrange wobbles has started making me sick to my stomach, so this was a very refreshing tune to listen to. The bass is really complex and I love all the layering going on with it :) The only criticism I can think of is for those descending sliding notes that start at :44. Instead of having them all slide down, have some slide up, to make things less predictable. Sounds really pro, tho. Are you signed? If not, you should be!

@Hudson: I was going for a Sound Tribe kind of jam track, but in my own style (and at a dubstep tempo w/ subbass). Anyways, I dig this chilled tune. Its repetitive, but not boring because of all the nuances you threw in. Plus the melody is great, but it could use another part.

@Cubicle: The detuned horn gives the track class. The piano sounds kind of childish, tho. Especially the parts where you play the same note a bunch of times in a row. Everything else sounds good, but I think the piano part needs to go back to the drawing board. And I use FL9.

@Sam: The vocals are very well used. I like the percussion a lot, too, but the kick needs to sound fuller.

@Craggle: When I first read ur post and listened to this song my jaw dropped. Cause I thought you were saying this was the first song you ever wrote :corntard: Anyways, I agree about there being too much high end on the synth, cut some out and that might even leave you with some room to add another subtle part to the song.
i liked your tune, one thing i would change would be all that sub bass i think there was just to much of it.

Evac - going to give you the same kind of feedback that you've given everyone else.

Your track sucks. It needs less shit.

I'm usually not so harsh but for you I'll make an exception.

Next time read the fucking rules.

first of all, thank you.

by melodic, I meant that the notes played by the bassline arent musical when you try to put them together and that you should stick with a musical scale (C Major, D Minor, etc.)

I'm not talking about your actual feedback. Half the people here have no idea what they're talking about anyway. Your blatant disregard of the rules and everyone that posts here is what annoyed me.

I could be wrong, but pretty sure he was being a smartass. That said, what he likes or dislikes is irrelevant, his comment was useless. lol

Thanks champ!

They came about by accident. Couple of square waves, one saw, added some reverb, then a ping-pong delay, and distorted the lot of it. Came out sounding a bit like a sax, kept it :P

haha im trying hard to find something to crit, but overall its a great tune. im listening again as i write this. you used the elements really well, the way you combined its really on point, the only thing i could even think about stating is coming back into after the break the voice kills a littttle of the momentum? i mean shit its a 6 minute tune and thats the only thing i can pick out, id be proud. big ups you gained a follower sir

Thanks mate :) In regards to the vocals - what time are you referring to? I think it's littered throughout the tune about 7-8 times. I keep it in there to tie it to the original but maybe the placement at the spot you're referring to is no good? Thanks again!
