Drunken night. Too drunk to keep flipping channels...
I knew it was going to be horrible but nothing could have prepared me for this. No idea what Kevin Nealon, Christina Ricci, or half the other people were smoking when they decided to sign onto this. They should blame bath salts. Booger from Revenge of the Nerds had a scene, and even he is above this. It could have been funny but the writing was just beyond horrible... and it had 3 writers. Adam Sandler is such a fucking turd.

City Of Men. Pretty good, not as good as City Of God IMO but still would recommend.
Hellraiser : Deader. I don't even know.

The thing about the last few Hellraisers is they aren't really Hellraiser films. They just took a few unrelated random horror scripts and mashed them together and threw Pinhead in the mix in order to save cash and exploit the franchise. The most recent one is called Hellraiser: Revelations and it's the first one in a long time that was written as an actual Hellraiser movie. The problem is they wrote and filmed it in about 1 month so that the studio could keep the rights to the franchise as they had to make a deadline, or lose rights to future films. Doug Bradley refused to play Pinhead because of that. It makes Bucky Larson up there look like comedy genius.

Sorry, geek rant. It just angers me as Hellraiser is something very dear to me lol.

Yeah, I knew all this. To be honest though I actually kind of enjoyed Hellraiser : Inferno, I'm not sure why, just something about it.

I've been told revelations is absolute shite but I'm still curious even without Doug Bradley, who wont be in the remake either, am I right?

I really like Hellraiser 4: Bloodline actually.

I've read all kinds of conflicting stuff about the remake, dunno. I doubt he will be though. Clive is producing it last I heard, but dunno in what capacity. There's been a few people attached to direct, but it keeps falling through. Last I read about a year ago on his blog was the Drive Angry makers were directing it in 3D which sounds lame imo.
Clive Barker about 'Revelations' wrote:"Hello,my friends. I want to put on record that the flic out there using the word Hellraiser IS NO FUCKIN' CHILD OF MINE! I have NOTHING to do with the fuckin' thing. If they claim it's from the mind of Clive Barker,it's a lie. It's not even from my butt-hole."
